Literature Text

I pity you Juliet, you naive little girl
13 years old and you fall for romantic fatality
I would have shut him out and kept to myself
Like any respectable girl would do

I have disdain for you, Juliet, for being wrong
Maybe you deserved to have him die in your arms
Maybe you wanted to stab yourself and escape
Deal with the fact you screwed up

I'm so sorry for you Juliet, for not realizing
Three days and one sacred vow isn't a life
Perhaps then when you were seen as old,
You were really just a child playing princess

Perhaps I'm sympathetic, Juliet
The pain you must have faced does make me wince
Anguish in the sight of confusion is daunting
But I don't know if that is enough

Perhaps I'm jealous, Juliet, of your fortune
Oh, what I would give to have Romeo at my balcony
What I would sacrifice just to be sacrificed for
How much I would love being that captivating

Maybe I'm angry, Juliet, that it only happened to you
What is so fair about a little girl loving like that
While me and the rest of the jaded wait for time
To finally give us what we're looking for

I am happy for you, Juliet, for finding your Romeo
Not many girls get that chance to feel so much
But maybe while you're up there with him in the sky
You could send another boy to my balcony
Yeaah...uhm, so I've been having some problems at school and I just needed to get this out. I'm kinda having a hard time with love and jealousy and...well it's all kinda self-explanatory. I really don't care how correct this piece is, or how it could be improved. Feel free to voice opinions though.
